As a Partner, Branden is involved across all service segments of the firm and serves as a liaison between the Managing Partner and the RFG team, helping coordinate firm-wide initiatives and maintain the high level of service that RFG provides to its clients.
Branden’s practice focuses on a broad range of municipal financial services, including long-term operational and capital improvement planning, municipal and utility budgeting, micro- and macro-level management reporting, tax and rate impact analysis, appeals, entity formation, annexation and governmental reorganization fiscal planning, utility and tax increment financing (TIF) planning, and municipal finance strategy. Through these services, he assists local governments in building financially sustainable structures that support both current operations and future growth.
He has also continued RFG’s emphasis on developing efficient and effective financial practices for municipalities and public entities, helping clients maximize available resources and improve fiscal management processes. Branden is highly proficient in the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF) systems as well as State Board of Accounts (SBOA) Gateway reporting programs, enabling him to guide entities through complex regulatory and reporting requirements.
Branden frequently presents to local governments, boards, and councils on topics including long-term financial planning, budgeting, accounting and financing strategies, annexation analysis, entity formation and growth, as well as TIF and utility planning initiatives. He is actively involved with Accelerate Indiana Municipalities (AIM), the Association of Indiana Counties (AIC), and other professional organizations that support communities across Indiana through improved financial practices, sound fiscal structuring, and expanded financial education.
Branden earned his Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs Management with a concentration in Finance from Indiana University in 2008 and later completed a Post-Baccalaureate degree in Accounting from Indiana University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
