Mickey Bell is a Consultant at RFG, specializing in long-term operational and capital planning as well as special projects that support local government decision-making. In this role, Mickey works closely with municipalities to develop financial planning strategies, including annexation fiscal plans, reorganizations, entity establishment as well as fire territory & district establishments, helping communities evaluate financial impacts and build sustainable strategies for future growth.
Mickey began working with Reedy Financial Group as an intern in May 2016 and joined the firm full-time in December 2016. Through this experience, Mickey has developed a strong foundation in municipal finance, financial analysis, and strategic planning, assisting local officials and governing bodies in navigating complex financial decisions.
Mickey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Ball State University and later completed a Master’s degree in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University. This academic background, combined with hands-on experience working with local governments, has helped cultivate strengths in financial analysis, organization, and clear communication with public officials and stakeholders.
Mickey remains focused on providing thoughtful financial guidance, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting long-term strategic planning efforts that help communities achieve their operational and financial objectives.
